How to Focket PRO

You probably have a Focket Pro in your hands right now and the introductory brochure led you to this page. If you haven't seen any of my TikTok videos and are therefore not entirely clear about what Focket Pro is and how to use it, you've come to the right place.

So what is Focket Pro?
You can also find basic information on the other side of the booklet – it's a magnetic anti-stress tool , handmade by me, streamer YoungTendo . But I understand that small print isn't always easy to read, so let's get straight to the point.

Focket Pro is an anti-stress tool designed exclusively for adults.
It is designed for relaxation, calming the mind, relieving tension, focusing and practicing fine motor skills of the hands . It is not a toy, but a tool that helps the hands and head relax - similar to meditation balls or other relaxation aids.

I previously created the magnetic fidget slider Focket , which is primarily focused on simple relaxation movement and calming. The Focket Pro goes a step further. It still allows you to indulge in calm, repetitive movements for relaxation – like those you would with a meditation ball – but it also offers a deeper level of focus.

The PRO designation means PRO relax .
The Focket Pro is designed to soothe you not only with its gentle magnetic clicks and smooth movement, but also with a mental challenge that encourages concentration and conscious work with your hands. This challenge can be found in both basic and more advanced movements, and especially in the possibilities offered by the mechanics of the Focket Pro itself.

Once you understand the principles and basic movements, you can create your own combinations of movements and rhythms that best suit you for relaxation, calming or concentration . Everyone can find their own style of use.

It's all about your imagination, creativity and ability to find your own personal way of relaxation .

I personally recommend carrying the Focket Pro with you everywhere, having it in your hand as much as possible so that you get used to it. You just need to crunch it in your hand so that your muscles and muscle memory gradually get used to it and you will be able to do more and more demanding movements.

It can also be a way for you to go back to a time when it wasn't common to always have a mobile phone in your hand. Focket and Focket Pro can perfectly replace your mobile phone.

Here you can also find a guide to basic movements to get you started with Focket Pro:

As I wrote, I recommend having it with you as much as possible and using it right from the start.  "crumple" it in your hand to get used to everything: the size, the weight, and how the magnets inside attract each other.

These are the two basic positions of the Focket Pro:

1) Primary position - straight

You simply let the magnets at the ends of the Fockets pull together.

Test how strong the magnet is, how the two sides are attracted to each other, by slightly lifting the second part or manipulating your thumb. From this Focket position, you can fold your fingers into a secondary position next to each other with a satisfying feeling.

2) Secondary position - side by side

The magnets are not attracted to each other as strongly, so you can use gravity and the weight of the Fockets to make different movements.

If you cleverly throw the Fockets into the air from this position, they will return to their primary position. Or you can let them spin between your fingers to straighten themselves.

Practicing muscle memory and motor skills

By simply lifting each finger individually, you can practice your motor skills and strengthen the muscles in your fingers.

Try the first move

Spin

The basic movement from which you can base all other movements,

Bend the top of the focket, and let it rotate naturally to straighten out..

You can combine this movement in different ways, either one-handed or passing the focket from one hand to the other.

Back Spin

Very effective basic movement

Rotate the straightened Focket to the opposite side between your thumb and index finger so that it stops against your hand and then use pressure to break it into the secondary position and rotate it back between your thumb and index finger so that the Focket straightens out.

Flip

Hold the Focket in your hand and gently separate the top part with your thumb, then throw it into the air with a hand movement so that it turns and returns to its original position, the magnets will help you out :),.. you can spin it once or twice, throw it low or high.

Thumb Twist

The key to this movement is to learn how to grab the bottom part of the Focket between your little finger and index finger, then lift the top part with your thumb and index finger and roll it between your middle finger and index finger back to its original position.

Pinky Twist

Similar movement to the previous one, just rotate the bottom part of the Focket, separate it with your middle and ring fingers and then use your little finger to help you rotate the bottom part of the Focket vertically 360 degrees. Be sure to watch the video, it takes a lot of practice.
