Counter Strike 2 - ITALY

Italy: The Complete Guide to the Legendary Map and 3D Printed Model

Hey gamers! Youngtendo from youngtendo.fun is back with another stunner – a 3D printed model of the Italy map from the latest version of Counter-Strike 2 . This classic is back in style – and if you’re a fan of hostages or old school CS, this is a must-have. In this guide, I’ll show you everything: from the history to the design to all the callouts you’ll find on my 3D map. Let’s get started!

How it all began

The map Italy first appeared on June 8, 2000 in Counter-Strike Beta 6.5 , originally created by Turl and later updated and improved by Valve. It is a Hostage Rescue (cs_) type map, where Counter-Terrorists must rescue hostages from Terrorists.
It has undergone many modifications and upgrades since then, but the basic layout of narrow Italian streets, marketplaces and small squares has remained iconic. In CS2, the map received new lighting, more realistic textures and subtle changes to the interiors and roads, but remains true to its original atmosphere.

Design and environment

Italy takes place in a small Italian town with narrow streets, old houses, a wine bar and a colorful marketplace.

  • CT Spawn is located by the fountain, from where they exit to key zones.

  • T Spawn is in the backyard behind the market where hostages are being held.

The map is known for its narrow passages , open marketplace , and vertical elements such as windows and balconies. Combat is close, fast, and tactical, perfect for players who love movement and map familiarity.

Our 3D printed version captures every detail – from the square with the fountain to the winding stairs and cellars. Every stone, every arch – exactly as in the game.

Interesting things that will get you

Italy is a map of nostalgia for many players. Everyone remembers the tension when CTs enter the narrow alley to the hostages. In CS2, a lot of details were added - realistic lighting, cicada sounds, breakable wine bottles and better clarity in the interiors.
Our replica faithfully captures these details - so you can feel the atmosphere of hot Italy at home.
